Atrocious and Absurd

My apologies to anyone who does pop in here. It still remains rather shapeless, staggering between performance magic, scepticism about 'magick' and the supernatural, atheism, etc.

I have just borrowed from the library - Attack of the Unsinkable Rubber Ducks - which the author says comes from James Randi's description of people who persist in believing in something ludicrous, however much evidence confronts them...

As you can see in a piece he wrote for The Guardian called

Dangerous Nonsense
Faith is not a form of mental fortitude, but an absurdity - which can give rise to atrocity
